Here for children and their families

We are here to ensure children, young people and their families, can access the information and resources that they need.

We work closely with the Children’s Hospital for Wales and healthcare teams to be here for childhood cancer in Wales.

Together, we ensure that children and young people with cancer, and their families, receive not only the best possible medical care but also the practical and emotional support they need.

Here you’ll find resources developed by professionals for children, young people and families affected by cancer.

Childhood cancer brings unexpected extra costs, like travel, food, heating, and time off work.

Latch financial grants help ease this strain so families can focus on what matters most: your child’s care and wellbeing.

The Latch Practical Fund provides financial support to ensure patients can access treatment. We will cover reasonable expenses for children and thier family to attend medical appointments. Speak to you Latch social worker or the Latch office to get a copy of the travel expense form.
