Have your voice heard on the National Cancer Strategy for Wales – join this online event!
The Welsh Government has announced that it is working on a new National Cancer Strategy for Wales to improve the experiences and outcomes of people living with cancer over the next ten years.
Macmillan Cancer Support and the Wales Cancer Alliance Children and Young People’s Sub-Group, which includes Latch, want to ensure that the voices of children and young people with lived experience of cancer, as well as those of their families and carers, are heard during the development of the strategy.

Macmillan Cancer Support and Wales Cancer Alliance are holding an online engagement event on Wednesday, 14 October 2026 from 4pm to 6.30pm - please join us!
This will be an opportunity to learn more about the strategy and how it is being developed, and to share your experiences, ideas and ambitions for what cancer care and support should look like in Wales over the decade ahead.
Who is the event for
This is an engagement event primarily for children and young people with lived experience of cancer and their families and carers.
Healthcare and third sector professionals working in the field of children and young people’s cancer are also welcome to join.
