Latch, a leading charity supporting the families of children diagnosed with cancer in Wales, is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Welsh actor Gerran Howell.

Fresh off his Emmy nomination for The Pitt, Howell has partnered with Latch to help raise awareness and support fundraising efforts for children with cancer and their families across Wales.

A Connection to Home
For Howell, who hails from Barry, the decision to partner with Latch was driven by a desire to give back to his local community, and to support children with cancer and the families navigating some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

"I’m really pleased to be partnering with Latch. Childhood cancer has been part of my family’s story, so the work they do means a great deal to me. The practical and emotional support they provide to children and families in Wales can make a real difference at an incredibly difficult time, and I’m looking forward to helping more people learn about their work and supporting their fundraising however I can.”

Strengthening the Support Network
Based at the Children’s Hospital for Wales in Cardiff, Latch provides a range of essential services, including on-site family accommodation, financial grants, and emotional support. The partnership with Howell marks a significant milestone in the charity's goal to raise awareness and support for families facing childhood cancer.

Upcoming Initiatives
The partnership will kick off with a series of digital campaigns to help amplify the charity’s fundraising campaigns. The charity hopes to welcome Gerran to visit the Children’s Hospital and meet with staff, children and families at the earliest opportunity.
